Max the Brave Dog (Cesur Köpek Max) - İngilizce Hikaye

Max is a little dog who lives with a kind family. One day, he sees a squirrel in the yard and chases it, but the squirrel runs up a tree. Max tries to climb, but dogs can’t climb trees. In the end, Max learns that he’s brave, but he also needs to know his limits. Max stood under the tree, barking at the squirrel. The squirrel sat high up on a branch, looking down at Max. Max jumped up and down, trying to reach the squirrel, but the tree was too tall. He tried to climb, but of course, dogs can’t climb trees. After a while, Max stopped and sat down. He looked up at the squirrel, who was still sitting in the tree. Max was tired, but he didn’t want to give up. He barked a little more, hoping the squirrel would come down. Max’s owner, Sarah, came out into the yard. She saw Max sitting under the tree and asked, "Max, what are you doing?" Max barked and looked up at the squirrel. Sarah laughed and said, "Oh, Max, you can’t catch a squirrel like that. Let’s go inside." Max looked at the squirrel one more time, then followed Sarah into the house. Inside, Sarah gave Max a treat. Max wagged his tail and felt happy. He had tried his best, but now he understood that some things are just too hard for dogs to do. From that day on, Max still liked to chase squirrels, but when they ran up trees, he didn’t try to climb after them anymore. He knew that he was brave, but he also knew when to stop.
